Auckland Castle Deer Park is a historic 150-acre parkland surrounding Auckland Castle in Bishop Auckland. The Deer House, dating from the 1760s, was built as a shelter and feeding house for deer and features Gothic Revival architecture. Visitors can walk through woodland paths, see wildlife, historic bridges, fish ponds, and enjoy the scenic surroundings; access to the interior of the Deer House is not permitted.
